JOINING HORIZONS

Landscape photographs from Thuringia, Germany, and from San Juan, Argentina, sewn together with hair; in an effort to join these images that represent two very different personal realities. The intention was to make them live together, as I should do when I arrived to Germany and as I do now with those landscapes incorporated into my life.

The personal way of appropriation of those landscapes were sewing their images with the own hair binding them by their horizons. It is the more fragile line that allows fusing fantasy and reality.

These interventions on photographs were made in a "Penelope" way arguably, as they were sewed during nights to finish on time for the exhibition.
